10th Annual Adoption Celebration
The 10th Annual Adoption Celebration will be held at the Parkview YMCA on Sunday, November 2nd at 6:00pm! Entertainment will be provided by National Comedian Ventriloquist, David Pendleton! Several adoption agencies will be there offering free adoption information. Plus, free refreshments will be provided!
It's a fun night with special music, interviews, and video presentations. along with testmonies from adoptive parents.
40 Days for Life
This Fall, you can help save lives by being a part of one of the largest and longest coordinated efforts in history. "40 Days for Life" is...40 days of prayer and fasting, 40 days of peaceful vigil...40 days of community outreach. We are praying that, with God's help, this groundbreaking effort will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city and throughout America.

Build a House With Melissa Montana and Women Build 2008
Join Star 88.3's Melissa Montana and Habitat for Humanity for Women Build 2008. The project is underway now and is scheduled to wrap up with a dedication ceremony on November 1st.
IRS Economic Stimulus Payments
Jodie Reynolds, IRS Media Relations Specialist, offered information on the irsstimulus payments and what tax payers should expect. She discussed the schedule for checks to go into the mail. She also informed those who do not usually have to file, they will have to file this year in order to receive a payment.
Charis House
This is the Women's and Children's Division of the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission. For the past several years, we have sponsored an annual Christmas Drive for new or gently used items but they take donations all throughout the year.
